Christmas Concerts: Both concerts were superb. Congratulations to all of the students who performed and the efforts of the staff to make everyone look and sound fantastic - well done MAPAS! MAPAS Now Closed For Christmas: MAPAS classes and lessons are now finished for a Christmas break; all classes and lessons will resume on Monday December 29th. We hope everyone enjoys a fabulous holiday. Regional Arts Programs Audition Workshop: MAPAS is now accepting registrations for the RAP Audition Workshop for those students intending to apply to the various arts programs in the Peel Region. The workshop will take place on Sunday December 7, 11am to 12pm, Sunday January 4, 10am to 12pm and Sunday January 18, 11am to 2pm. Participants will be coached on how to perform their piece, handle the interview portion and deal with the usual audition nerves. The fee is $85; you can register by emailing admin@marionabbott.com or by filling out a RAP Audition Workshop form at the studio. MAPAS own Rep Troupe has been selected to perform at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida as part of their ``Magic Music Days At Disney``. Needless to say, we`re EXCITED!!! Evergreen Nursery Donations Thanks to positive ticket sales, we donated a cheque for $150 to the Nursery; and thanks to the wonderful generousity of all the students and their parents, we collected seven boxes of items for the infants and their mothers.
