Marion Abbott’s Performing Arts Studio is known for producing the best theatrical shows featuring ‘all student’ casts. Enhanced by professionally designed sets, props and costumes and helmed by professional directors and choreographers, each cast member is made to look and feel their very best. The London production has been running for more than 50 years and Toronto’s own production played for twenty five years before closing its doors. DISNEY'S SLEEPING BEAUTY

One of the latest scripts to be developed for student performance by Disney, we are excited to tackle this lovely fairy tale. Just after her 16th birthday, Princess Aurora finds herself the victim of a terrible spell, placed on her by the evil sorceress Maleficent. Will Flora, Fauna and Merryweather be able to use their fairy magic to awaken the sleeping princess? Join us as we present this wonderful tale of true love’s kiss.
MarionEttes: Comedy Improv Troupe
Ages 12+ 
Members of our own Comedy Improv Troupe learn and execute and basic rules of improv through many different exercises and games. The MarionEttes are talented, hard working, understand comedy and believe in the value of working as a team – vital to your survival in Improv! The MarionEttes create original sketches for two different showcase performances, as well as appearances in A Christmas Celebration, Kidz Rock and numerous other events on the studio calender. In June they will celebrate the end of a rewarding year with their final performance at Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club in Vaughan – a night you won’t want to miss!
MAPAS Showcase Troupe
Ages 7+
This troupe participates in special numbers presented at all performances of A Christmas Celebration, Kidz Rock and The June Gala as well as at other events throughout the studio year. Pieces performed in previous years include You Can’t Stop The Beat from Hairspray, Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Billy Joel’s River of Dreams. Showcase Troupe members are talented, hard working and reliable students. It is a great training ground for those wishing to audition for Rep Troupe.
