Sounds
of Summer Come
and improve your sight-singing and harmony skills as we learn
amazing choral arrangements together. Students currently enrolled
in secondary school vocal programs and who took this course in
the past, found it to be very useful and applicable to their studies.
Our exciting partnership with the Peel Heritage Complex will continue
this summer, offering many performance opportunities for the students
of Sounds Of Summer 2008 - don't miss out on your chance to wow
the Brampton Community with your talents!
Sounds
Of Summer: Intensive This additional component will
focus soley on sight reading with rhythm drills and interval recognition
exercises. This program has been designed for those students taking
RCM Vocal Exams and/or enrolled in high school vocal programs.
It sounds austere, but we promise to make it fun!
Theory
Exam Prep For
those students planning to take their Royal Conservatory theory
exam in August 2008; this course will cover the requirements for
Preliminary, Grade 1 and Grade 2 Rudiments Exams. Theory exams
are required components for practical exams in voice and/or piano;
they are required for most (if not all) post-secondary music and
performance programs … and they look fantastic on a resume!
The program fee includes 9 classes plus one 30min private session
with the teacher to address individual concerns; additional private
sessions will be made available at a nominal fee. Proof of registration
for the applicable exam must be presented at the time of registration;
